Does that sound like you?The Opportunity With McKinstryWe are adding an Electrical Project Engineer to our growing Electrical team in Spokane, WA. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy project design and customer requirements, and are passionate about solving problems and achieving goals- this may be the right position for you!Assist with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts and drawings and specifications.Coordinate equipment procurement with our purchasing department and outside vendors.Schedule, develop the scope of work with subcontractors, and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting.Communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners.Work closely with our project management team and respond to questions raised by superintendents and field workers on a daily basis.Work with the project team to solve problems and will gain hands-on experience in the field.Create and respond to requests for information (RFI).Develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals.Create site-specific work plans and create operations and maintenance manuals for our clients.Process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct quantify take-off and estimates.What You Need To Succeed At McKinstry:BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or comparable degree or equivalent work experience preferred.Electrical experience is a plusThree (3) years of experience in engineering, project management or construction is requiredExperience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferredProficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferredCompleted OSHA 30 class is requiredPeopleFirst BenefitsWhen it comes to the basics, we have you covered:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zero deductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistance.Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave.Transgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance"Building Good" paid community service time.Learning and advancement opportunities via McKinstry University.McKinstry Moves onsite gyms or reimbursement for remote workers.See benefit plan documents for complete details.If you're driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together, McKinstry is the place to build your career.The pay range for this position is $29.55 - $44.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
