EMS EMT-Paramedic I

Essential Functions Provides emergency medical treatment including the injections of drugs and medications and intravenous fluids to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons Operates an emergency medical vehicle Lifts, carries and transports injured, sick or incapacitated persons from residential or accident scenes to medical facilities Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work Must lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds in a team setting Lifts and carries items weighing in excess of 100 pounds in a team setting Minimum Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent Other Minimums Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Must pass a pre-employment physical examination Must pass a pre-employment polygraph test Must pass an annual medical examination as mandated by OSHA Must be vaccinated for hepatitis B, have provided evidence of immunity, or have signed a declination f #J-18808-Ljbffr GovernmentJobs.com — Louisville Metro Government, KY
