Future Opening: Direct Support Professional Perry Care Services, Inc. We are a residential care facility that provide help with life skills to disabled adults, which includes helping with activities of daily living. REQUIREMENTS Looking for a responsible individual to work as a DSP 2 in a home environment for disabled adults Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license Be available day/evenings shifts and weekends or overtime as needed Great time management skills - ability to be continuously be on time and maintain attendance Clear criminal record Have a current physical examination including a negative TB test (can be done prior to hire) Current first aid/CPR certification (can be done prior to hire). 1 year of experience required Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Work to improve, enrich and respect the lives of individuals with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities Assistance with daily living activities such as meal preparation, bathing, grooming, and other hygiene practices transfers from bed to wheelchair using the Hoyer lift Give and document medications administered Housekeeping and sanitizing Transferring consumers to/from bed to wheelchairs Maintain and complete accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports Assist with day-by-day operations of the residence accordance with regulatory requirements, agency policy and quality program standards Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients Transporting clients to appointments and/or activities Mentor, coach, and emphasize behavioral management to residents with developmental disabilities Assist with implementing each consumer's care plans Referral code from a current employee If no code provided, add their name instead. #J-18808-Ljbffr
