We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our growing team in a custom job shop environment. You will primarily be working with TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel, as well as performing MIG, TIG, and Wire Feed welding on various materials. If you are passionate about welding and thrive in creating custom solutions, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Conduct MIG, TIG, and Wire Feed welding on various materials, including tubing up to 1/20th of an inch thick.
• Read and interpret weld prints and symbols.
• Work on custom projects as per customer specifications, ranging from simple structures to complex assemblies.

• 2+ years of experience in MIG/TIG welding or equivalent schooling.
• Proficiency in welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

• Experience with press brake, blueprint reading, and machine setup.
• Familiarity with Amada brake press machines, punch press, and laser operations.
• Skill in sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment

The shop is a 30,000 square foot facility with a small team of around 10 people. It's a close-knit and supportive environment with brand new welding bays and equipment, perfect for someone who enjoys custom fabrication work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
