General DescriptionSupport daily repair and manufacturing operations for incoming workload for C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4, Global Hawk and other workload as required.DutiesTroubleshoot, modify calibrate and repair of complex aircraft electrical systems and equipment such as electrical power control and distribution systems, lighting systems, refueling and fuel quantity indicating systems, etc.Perform final functional and operational testing of these systems.Replace defective controls units, relay boards, servo units, or other componentsSet up and operate computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment to test and analyze circuitry and interconnected cabling of systemsInterpret and apply a variety of technical information such as technical orders, repair manuals, schematics, etc concerning wire codes, wiring configuration and testing procedures. Set-up and operate computer controlled automated test equipment (ATE) Other duties as assignedEducation/Experience RequirementsWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.High School Diploma or equivalentMust have at least two years of recent verifiable experience Knowledge of operating electrical principlesKnowledge of interface of electrical systems with hydraulic, electronic armament, instrument, and mechanical systemsExperience using hand and electrical test units, meters, oscilloscopes, etc. Experience in reading schematics and wiring diagramsMust be a US CitizenMust be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities.Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within nine (9) months of employee's start date.This position falls under Executive Order 14042, and may require fully vaccinated status.We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.Physical RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
