Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:
Provide direct patient care for individuals with various types of cancer and hematological disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
Work alongside a team of nine physicians, eight advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver disease-specific care
Collaborate with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for patients
Stay at the forefront of innovative treatments and technologies in the field of oncology
Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient care across the healthcare system
Participate in clinical research and apply new treatment methodologies
Offer consultations, second opinions, and treatment plans for complex cancer cases
Collaborate with a progressive team of clinicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care
Minimal call responsibility, shared with 13 other clinicians and two oncology hospitalists
Minimal weekend coverage required
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
Active Colorado medical license required or willingness to obtain
DEA registration must be obtained prior to start
Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
Recent NPDB Self Query Report required within 30 days
Unable to support visa candidates for this position
