Financial Analyst

GHP is hiring a Financial Analyst based in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a home office-based opportunity. The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of Finance and provides support in calculating monthly financial results and analysis to maintain/optimize profitability. Also, instrumental in forecasting and budgeting process. Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reporting, accounting and financial analysis Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Accounting/GAAP knowledge Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) Knowledge of SQL and Great Plains is a plus Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Verify cash payments from vendors are in accordance with contract terms and provide internal reporting on payments Assist in Providing financial info by client to be entered Great Plains via uploads and journal entries Maintain cash flow projections to provide to corporate partners Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations Assist in providing financial information to the external auditors Assist in the budget & reforecast process Maintain budget and reforecast information in the accounting system Evaluate profitability at the client level Prepare, review and distribute monthly reporting internally Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position Must possess the sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met Must function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with other staff Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability Must be able to operate office, business, and accounting machines WORKING CONDITIONS Works in well lighted/ventilated office areas Subject to frequent interruptions Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary Attend and participate in continuing educational programs Communicates with both external and internal customers Maxor National Pharmacy Services offers a culture that promotes teamwork and where employees are valued as the Company’s best asset.
