Pipe Preparation Specialist — Welding Operations Support

Help a growing local manufacturing shop deliver consistent, weld-ready pipe. Your precision in cleaning and grinding keeps projects on schedule and quality on target.

Your impact

By preparing pipe surfaces correctly the first time, you enable clean welds and reduce rework across the line.

Core responsibilities

• Clean pipe using designated solutions to achieve a contaminant-free surface.
• Perform grinding operations to meet finish standards — roughly 75% of the role is grinding.

Tools of the trade

• Surface Grinder
• Manual Grinder

Where and when you’ll work

• Shop setting: Non–climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Schedule: 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Overtime: High volume of overtime is typical
• Pay range: $17–$18 per hour
