Urology Physician Assistant

$15,000 Starting Bonus. Student Loan Assistance. PA Completes medical histories and physical exams and provides treatment to Urology inpatients. Provides inpatient consults, admissions, and discharges to Urology patients in accordance with the medical plan of care; critical pathways established by Self Regional Healthcare, Self-Medical Group, and Medical/Nursing Policies /Procedures /Protocols and Standards of Care. Completes admission / discharge medication reconciliation, orders and interprets labs and imagining studies, and completes discharge summaries. Works in collaboration with Physicians, Case Management, patients and families. Initiates advance care planning; works with supportive care and hospice teams to assist patient and family with end-of-life decisions. Performs any other assigned duties per Hospitalist or Urology. Handles daily ER consults to also complement the service line/surgeon. Maintains continuing medical education requirement in accordance with hospital requirements; maintains BLS and ACLS certifications.
