Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide

What We're Looking For:

Altra Home Health is seeking caring and dependable professionals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). In this role, you'll provide essential personal care that supports the daily needs, comfort, and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.

• Provide friendly medication reminders.

• Help ensure patient safety at all times.

• Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.

• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.

• Monitor and record patient temperature.

• Support patients with ambulation.

• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.

• Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.

• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.

• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.

• Handle light housekeeping tasks.

• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.

• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Current CPR certification.

• Willingness to comply with all State and Federal training requirements.

• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.
