Business Intelligence Developer II

Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of five years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business intelligence, reporting, data warehousing, or analytics solutions required. Experience with modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Collate, OpenTofu/Terraform, orchestration tools, metadata management, and data governance platforms preferred. Four to seven years of experience with Microsoft BI platforms, including Power BI, Power BI Report Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS Tabular, and SQL Server preferred. Strong SQL development skills required, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data modeling. Proficient knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, data modeling, DAX, report creation, publishing, security, and deployment options. Knowledge of BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, semantic modeling, reporting frameworks, and enterprise analytics platforms. Experience supporting operational, financial, construction, mortgage, real estate, homebuilding, or related industry reporting preferred. Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong verbal, written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DAX preferred. JD Edwards experience preferred. Understanding of accounting processes and basic general ledger concepts preferred. Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, governance, semantic modeling, and governed self-service analytics preferred.
