Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide in Princeton, NJ. This is a great opportunity for those looking to pursue a future career in physical therapy!

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology.

Scheduling Requirements

• Per Diem
• Monday - Friday availability (morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available between 6:45AM to 9:30PM).
• Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations

Essential Functions:

• Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment.
• Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment.
• Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, and electrical equipment.
• General housekeeping and infection prevention.
• Assisting in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages.
