Part-Time Family Assistant $30 - $40 per hour | Palm Beach, FL | On-site | Consulting A Palm Beach Family is looking for an assistant to help run the household A bit about us: A busy Palm Beach family is seeking a reliable, organized, and highly proactive Part-Time Family & Household Assistant to help keep daily family and household operations running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in anticipating needs, managing details, and following through efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, flexible, polished, and comfortable managing a wide range of day-to-day responsibilities with discretion and a strong sense of urgency. This person should be able to work independently, prioritize competing needs, communicate clearly, and take initiative without needing constant direction. Why join us? Hours: 12pm - 5pm or 12pm-7pm depending on the children's schedule Job Details Key Responsibilities Run personal and household errands, including pickups, deliveries, shopping, returns, and miscellaneous tasks Safely drive children to and from after-school activities, appointments, and other scheduled commitments Coordinate and manage household purchases, product research, online orders, exchanges, and returns Assist with family calendars, scheduling, appointment coordination, reminders, and follow-up Maintain light household organization, including organizing common areas, supplies, closets, and household systems as needed Coordinate with household vendors, service providers, contractors, and maintenance professionals Help schedule and oversee repairs, maintenance visits, deliveries, and other home-related appointments Track household to-do items and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time Assist with travel-related logistics, reservations, and planning when needed Support other family and household needs as they arise, maintaining flexibility and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude Handle sensitive information and family matters with complete confidentiality and discretion Qualifications Prior experience as a family assistant, personal assistant, executive assistant, household manager, nanny/family assistant, concierge, or in a similarly service-oriented role preferred Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow through consistently Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and identify solutions independently Excellent communication skills and professional judgment Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change throughout the day Strong sense of urgency, efficiency, and ownership over assigned responsibilities Trustworthy, discreet, personable, and respectful of privacy Proficient with smartphones, online shopping, calendars, email, and basic scheduling tools Ability to lift and carry routine household items, packages, groceries, and supplies as needed Requirements Clean driving record Reliable personal transportation Valid Florida driver’s license and proof of insurance Availability for approximately 20–30 hours per week Flexibility to adjust schedule occasionally based on family needs Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
