Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse (Trauma) – Texas

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (0700-1530), with on-call rotation as needed for trauma coverage including evenings, nights, and weekends. Holiday call required.

Highlights:

• Trauma experience required with focus on circulating OR responsibilities
• Monday-Friday core schedule with variable on-call shifts to support trauma services
• On-call coverage includes weekday evenings (1530-1900, 1900-0700) and weekend shifts (0700-1900, 1900-0700)
• Holiday call rotation includes Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve night, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve night, and New Year's Day
• Collaborative surgical team environment with comprehensive intraoperative patient care
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility location

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
• Trauma OR experience required
• Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with circulating and scrubbing duties for operative procedures
