Experienced physicians with leadership backgrounds may also be considered for interim Medical Director responsibilities.

Join a growing adult inpatient behavioral health program serving communities throughout South Palm Beach County.

This physician-focused practice emphasizes quality patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuity across the inpatient psychiatric service while also providing consultation support for emergency department and medical/surgical patients.

Providers may have the opportunity to supervise psychiatric residents as part of their daily clinical responsibilities.

Clinical Practice
Responsibilities include:

• Adult inpatient psychiatric evaluations
• Daily patient management
• New admissions
• Discharge planning
• Consultation services for Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical patients
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
• Family communication and treatment planning
• Resident supervision (when applicable)

Patient Population
Adult Inpatient Psychiatry
Typical diagnoses include:

• Major Depressive Disorder
• Bipolar Disorder
• Schizophrenia
• Anxiety Disorders
• Substance Use Disorders

Older adult patients are frequently encountered due to the regional population.
Average clinical metrics include:

• Daily Census: Approximately 16 Patients
• Admissions: Approximately 3 Daily
• Discharges: Approximately 3 Daily
• Consultations: 1–2 Daily
• Average Length of Stay: 6.5 Days

No overnight call responsibilities.
