ERP Application DeveloperThe ERP Application Developer develops, extends, automates, and supports applications within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and Power Platform ecosystem. The role will work closely with the ERP Technical & Integration Lead, business teams, and implementation partners to build sustainable solutions and reduce long-term reliance on external consultants. This role is well suited for an early-career professional with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn and grow into deeper D365 application ownership. This position is expected to collaborate across IT, business teams, implementation partners, and other stakeholders. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required to support planned system releases, cutovers, maintenance activities, and critical production incidents.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain D365 F&SCM X++ extensions, including data entities, custom fields, report data providers, and business logicBuild and maintain REST APIs, OData services, and application connectorsDevelop Power Apps for manufacturing, warehouse, and business-process use cases, including shop floor forms, production reporting, maintenance requests, and OTTO AMR exception loggingDevelop Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, exception handling, and process automationDesign and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, and application data structuresCreate and maintain governed D365 data entities, APIs, and OData endpoints for integration and analytics consumptionPartner with the Data Analytics Engineer to expose clean D365 data entities and OData feeds for reporting and analytics consumption.Develop reusable application components and automation solutions in accordance with technical architecture standardsPerform debugging, root-cause analysis, and application defect resolutionCreate unit tests and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release validationValidate customizations and integrations against Microsoft D365 platform updateParticipate in code reviews, source-control practices, Azure DevOps, LCS (Lifecycle Services) package management, and release processesSupport the ERP Technical and Integration Lead on X++ extension deployments, code reviews, and D365 release validation activitiesMaintain application design, development, and support documentationWork with business users to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutionsSupport post-go-live enhancements, automation opportunities, and continuous improvementProvide occasional after-hours and weekend support during planned releases, cutovers, system maintenance, and critical production incidentsEssential FunctionsMust be highly motivated, able to follow direction, and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple projectsMust be able to effectively analyze and present complex informationMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingMust have aptitude for problem solvingMust be able to speak, listen, and effectively collaborate and communicate with team membersMust be able to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailMust have full use of arms and legs and be able to climb stairs to access all areas of the plant and officesAble to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and lift >20lbs. on an occasional basisMust be organized and maintain work areaAbility to work under the pressure of, and meet, deadlinesAble to travel to other Joy Baking Group sitesAbility to lead cross-functional technical initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to coordinate with business stakeholders, external vendors, and systems integratorsAbility to troubleshoot complex system, integration, and data issues across multiple platformsAbility to support after-hours ERP deployment, cutover, and production support activities as neededAbility to document technical processes, standards, and system architecture clearlyAbility to evaluate technical solutions with long-term scalability, maintainability, and operational supportability in mindQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)1-3 years of application development experience (internship, academic project, or portfolio experience may be considered)Foundational programming skills in one or more languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similarBasic SQL and relational database knowledgeFamiliarity with APIs, JSON, REST, web services, or application integration conceptsMicrosoft certifications or demonstrated self-directed learning in the Microsoft technology stackExposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and/or X++ is preferredExposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or Azure is preferredExperience with REST APIs, OData, OAuth, or application integration is preferredAzure DevOps, Git, LCS (Lifecycle Services), or other source-control and ALM tooling experience is preferredManufacturing, warehouse, ERP, or business application exposure is preferred
