Emergency Veterinarian

OVERNIGHT E/CC VETERINARIAN Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is looking for an experienced ER veterinarian interested in an overnight position, who elevates the standard of care through the way they think, communicate, and show up for their team and patients. Overnight Doctor Responsibilities Inpatient role: Occasional support to the ER and incoming cases may be required. Ten (10) overnight shifts per 4 weeks Receiving doctor role: Ten (10) overnight shifts per 4 weeks Hybrid option combining inpatient and receiving roles is also available for discussion Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will have: A DVM, VMD or equivalent foreign degree with Educational Equivalency Certification and successful NAVLE completion. Rotating internship training and 2+ years of ER experience in a specialty hospital setting. Ability to frequently move, transport, or lift over 50 lbs, handle and examine patients independently without assistance, and the ability to work in an unpredictable veterinary environment that may require quick physical reflexes.
