Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, mobilization, and vital sign monitoring

• Support patients with varying needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other cognitive impairments

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

• Assist with vital sign monitoring, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse

• Participate in our center's quality improvement initiatives to continually improve patient care and services

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Connecticut

• Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
