The role is based near Methuen, MA, with convenient full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate dedication, flexibility, and a positive attitude working with a variety of student needs. You’ll collaborate closely with staff and families, providing high-quality, individualized instruction to ensure each student’s educational progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching license.
- Experience teaching in K–8 settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to adapt curriculum and instruction.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, modifying curriculum as necessary.
- Assess student capabilities, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to meet students’ individual goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.
- Implement and document behavioral and academic interventions.

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
