Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience and Siemens proficiency for an evening shift position at a Level I Trauma academic medical center in North Haven, CT.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center with 1,500+ beds
• Located at the North Haven campus
• 13-week contract
• Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Current ARRT (MRI) certification and applicable state license required if applicable
• Current BLS required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
