Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Avon, CT! This is a 5+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist

Location: Avon, CT 06001

Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Eastern)
• Weekend Requirement: Alternating Saturdays, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  or
• Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Thursday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $17-21/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
• Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
  

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
