Location: Columbus, OH Travel: Regional Travel as Needed Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position Overview JSET is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of data center, controls, and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This is a field-focused role that works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, vendors, and customers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. This position offers a clear development path for individuals looking to build a long-term career in project management. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers with project execution and coordination Track project progress, schedules, action items, and deliverables Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and logistics Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking Attend project meetings and communicate project updates Maintain documentation in Procore and other project management systems Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers Assist with project closeout and turnover activities Participate in jobsite visits and field coordination efforts Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of experience in construction, project coordination, project administration, field operations, or a related environment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field Experience with Procore or similar construction management software Experience supporting project schedules, procurement, budgets, or change management Experience in construction, electrical, controls, automation, or low-voltage industries What We Offer Competitive Compensation Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Professional Development and Training Career Advancement Opportunities Exposure to Large-Scale Data Center and Mission-Critical Projects Work Environment Primarily field-based role supporting active construction sites Frequent interaction with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, vendors, and customers Regular use of project management software and digital documentation tools Fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously Regional travel as business needs require Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
