Journey to Healing, PLLC Counseling and Consulting Services is a virtual mental health practice serving clients throughout Illinois. We are looking for a licensed therapist to join our growing practice as a

1099 independent contractor .

This opportunity is a good fit for a clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, collaboration, and providing client-centered, culturally responsive care. Clinicians have flexibility in developing their schedules and caseloads while having administrative and practice support.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy via telehealth
• Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and clinical documentation
• Assess client needs, symptoms, progress, and risk
• Utilize evidence-based and client-centered therapeutic approaches
• Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries
• Collaborate and communicate regarding client care when appropriate
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, professional ethics, and Illinois licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Active Illinois LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT license
• Experience providing individual psychotherapy
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a virtual practice environment
• Reliable internet access and a private, confidential space for telehealth
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
