Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy techniques that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work hand in hand with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to achieve optimal health outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapy objectives, planning for discharge, and home exercise regimens
• Document evaluations, treatments, and ongoing progress in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive healthcare provision

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Specialist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
