- Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently based on credentials
- Empowering patients and their families with knowledge about preventive care and chronic disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-focused care
- Maintaining precise documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to acquire within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by a warm bedside manner
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and colleagues
- Flexibility in dynamic, patient-driven environments
- Proficiency in EMR systems and ease with telehealth platforms
