We specialize in low-volume aluminum castings for a wide range of industries including automotive, marine, industrial, and mechanical applications. Position: Foundry Molder / General Laborer / Casting Grinding

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain molding equipment to produce quality castings
• Set up molds, perform adjustments, and properly close molds
• Inspect finished molds and castings for quality and defects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and alloy segregation procedures
• Assist with daily foundry operations and production tasks
• Complete job-related documentation accurately
• Communicate production or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
• Assist with general shop and production duties as needed
• Operate and maintain griding equipment to clean and finish aluminum castings using pneumatic and electric tools
• After training, employees will have opportunities to learn:
  • Aluminum pouring operations
  • Furnace operation and maintenance
  • Forklift operation
  • Overhead crane operation

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• No foundry experience required — we are willing to train motivated individuals looking for long-term growth opportunities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
• Ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs
• Ability to work in a foundry environment, including hot summer temperatures and cooler winter conditions (No heating or air conditioning)

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position
• Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Saturday overtime available based on production schedule
• Overtime opportunities available
