Clinical Research Coordinator

Clinical Research Coordinator – Birmingham Flourish Research seeks motivated, creative individuals to join our Birmingham site as a Clinical Research Coordinator. The role supports investigators in executing Phase I–IV trials across therapeutic areas, ensuring compliance with SOPs, FDA, and GCP guidelines while delivering an impeccable patient experience. Shift & Location Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM (flexibility required for patient schedules). 2660 10th Ave South, Building 1, Suite 735, Birmingham, AL 35205. Compensation & Benefits Hourly: $25–$28 per hour + monthly performance bonuses. Responsibilities Execute protocol-specified patient visits and procedures (phlebotomy, IVs, injections, vital signs, ECG/EKG, etc.). Document assessments, study data, and maintain source documentation; complete CRFs/eCRFs. Obtain informed consent per federal regulations, GCP, and IRB requirements. Recruit qualified subjects to meet enrollment timelines. Complete required training; attend investigator meetings; stay current with regulations and company policies. Schedule and conduct visits per protocol timelines. Protect confidentiality per HIPAA and agreements. Report AEs promptly; report SAEs to sponsor within 24 hours and notify PI/Sub‑I/supervisor. Ensure availability of trial materials (study drug, labs, CRFs, supplies). Communicate with Leads, Managers, PIs/Sub‑Is, and study team per protocol and policy. Perform duties safely and cost‑effectively, complying with company policies. Represent Flourish professionally in all interactions. Additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or commensurate clinical research experience. Phlebotomy and EKG experience is a plus, but not required. Preferably 1 + year experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Familiarity with e‑source reporting via an electronic platform. Clear understanding of ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations. Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ethical compass: honesty, detail‑orientation, self‑driven. High‑level critical thinking skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology and lab collection/processing/storage. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
