Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.The RoleWe are currently seeking a Director of Engineering for our Institutions Engineering Team. You will assume engineering leadership over our investor solutions and research product suite and take ownership of technology delivery across our Institutional segment and sophisticated investor product offerings. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers, platform architects, and engineering managers. The ideal candidate brings experience in Asset Management solutions, strong technical depth in scalable cloud-native systems and proven leadership in executing complex product roadmaps.What You’ll DoStrategic LeadershipLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization dedicated to the Institutional segmentEstablish clear engineering goals, operational metrics, and delivery standards aligned with company objectives and create a high-performing engineering cultureCollaborate with Engineering, Product and Design leadership to drive Addepar strategy across all of our engineering organizationsDrive the technical vision, co-ordination and delivery across all products and solutions within our Institutional segmentTechnology & Product DeliveryPartner closely with Product Management, Design, and GTM to define, prioritize, and execute product roadmapsImplement robust Agile software development practices to ensure predictable, high-quality, and timely releasesGuide architectural decisions to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient system design suitable for institutional security and compliance standardsChampion engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring/observability platformsWho You AreBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience8+ years of engineering leadership experience with a track record of managing managers, architects, and software engineers.5+ years in Asset Management / Institutional Investing technology, including financial risk frameworksProven experience delivering enterprise software platforms with stringent security, regulatory, and uptime requirementsDeep familiarity with modern cloud architecture, microservices, API design, data pipelines, and enterprise security frameworksOur Values Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care.
