Join Kiddie Academy of Arlington as a Lead Teacher in Arlington, TN, where you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children. As a Lead Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment that fosters each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.
- Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing and company policies related to health, safety, and education.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to plan and participate in school events and professional development.
- Previous experience working as a lead or assistant teacher in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to create a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.
- Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $16.00 based on experience and qualifications.
