About the position This position is Non‑appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Resource Management Office at Joint‑Base Charleston/Weapon Station. This position is flexible and may work 0‑40 hours per week based on mission/programming requirements. It may require shift work to provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and special occasions. An applicant’s eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility must be provided with the application by the closing date, 07/24/2026. Relevant preferences include Business‑Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference. Experience may include paid and unpaid work, including volunteer work through National Service programs such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, and other organizations (professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). All qualifying experience, including volunteer experience, will receive credit. Applicants’ resumes must clearly describe relevant experience. If the position allows qualifying based on education, transcripts will be required as part of the application. Qualifying experience: must have experience in responsible clerical or office work, including the ability to perform common arithmetic problems and make change when receiving payments. Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items, including direct handling of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods.
