Patient Access Representative

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Access Rep V to support our client’s medical facility based in LaGrange, IN 46761, USA a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Patient Access Rep VLocation: LaGrange, IN 46761, US ADuration: 3-4 Months +Pay rate: $19 - $2 1Schedule M:7am-4pm, T:8am-5pm, W:9am-6pm, Th:8am-5pm, F:7am-4p m *Pay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualification s.Job Responsibilitie s:· Schedule patient appointments and greet patients upon appointment arriv al· Ensure a welcoming environment for all patients and visito rs· Assist patients with registration and check in procedur es· Data entry of patient demographics and billing informati on· Verification of insurance coverage and collect/post payments to patient accoun ts· Collect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis when need ed· Call physician offices to confirm the accuracy of test orde rs· Monitor and log patient wait times on a regular bas is· Notify the supervisor of any patient issues in a timely mann er· Promote and provide information about LabCorp patient servic es· Manage office supplies to ensure proper inventory leve ls· Open and close the office when necessa ry· Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessa ry Minimum Qualificatio ns:· High School Diploma or GED or equival ent· 1 year or more of customer service experie nce Preferred Qualificati ons:· 1 year or more of patient facing healthcare experi ence Additional Job Stand ards:· Experience working in a team enviro nment· Strong data entry and organizational s kills· High level of attention to d etail· Proficient in MS O ffice· Flexibility to work overtime as n eeded· Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test Pride-Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred ve ndors.Equal Employment Oppor tunityPride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
