Certified Accountant for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Help build AI systems that reason about real accounting work by converting everyday accounting workflows, judgments, and decisions into structured, high-quality training data. This role draws on hands-on accounting experience to design realistic tasks, evaluate AI outputs for technical and professional accuracy, and provide written feedback that improves AI performance. Top contributors may be invited into reviewer, lead, or domain-expert responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities- Design realistic accounting scenarios and tasks based on your daily work, for example financial statement preparation, reconciliations, journal entries, audit procedures, tax filings, month-end close, and internal controls
- Review and compare AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, compliance with standards such as GAAP and IFRS, and sound professional judgment
- Create structured examples that reflect how accountants reason through problems and make decisions
- Provide clear, written feedback that helps improve how AI performs accounting tasks
- Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to iterate on task design and evaluation
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, tax, bookkeeping, or finance operations, in public accounting, corporate/in-house, advisory, or a firm
- Required professional credential: CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, EA, or an equivalent credential
- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Comfortable with common accounting systems and tools, for example QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Excel
- Strong written communication skills and close attention to detail
- Remote engagement
- Hourly work model
- Work is performed asynchronously with the research team
- $80.00 to $120.00 per hour
- Open to all accounting specialties, contribute where your expertise is strongest
- Must hold one of the listed professional credentials or an equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Submit a resume or a short summary of your accounting experience
- Complete a brief form describing your practice areas, specialties, and certifications
- Selected candidates may be asked to complete a short sample task
