Step into a dynamic role working with young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school community. This position offers the chance to make a tangible difference over a 12-week period while covering a maternity leave. You’ll provide essential speech therapy services to approximately 50 students from PreK through 4th grade, fostering their communication development during a crucial stage of their education. Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure (State SLP License required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid educator certification for school-based practice
• Proven experience delivering speech/language therapy in schools
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive onsite speech and language therapy for PreK–4th grade students
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff
• Attend required school meetings and participate as an engaged member of the educational team
