Field Service Engineer II (LCMS) - MD/DC

$31.73 - $42.31 per hour

Field Service Engineer II position supporting liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LCMS) instruments in the Maryland/DC region. Role involves installation, maintenance, repairs, and customer training with up to 75% travel in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair, and qualify chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments professionally
Meet customer service level agreements and internal key performance indicators
Train customers on equipment operation and provide technical support
Document field service activities and submit installation and service reports timely
Assist commercial team with technical information, training, and equipment demonstrations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, engineering, physics, or equivalent discipline
2+ years hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing LC/MS instruments
Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to component level
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service reports
Excellent customer service and communication skills, written and verbal
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required

Compensation: $31.73–$42.31 hourly (Maryland-based)
