Job Title: Senior Accountant / Senior Associate - Assurance Services
Position Type : Full-Time (Hybrid / Fully Remote options available for experienced candidates)

We are seeking a motivated, skilled  Audit Senior to join our growing Assurance Services team. This role sits at the heart of our engagements, acting as the day-to-day lead on client accounts while helping guide and coach junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Engagements : Drive financial audits, reviews, and compilations from initial planning through to final completion.
• Fieldwork Direction : Manage daily field operations, monitor budgets, and establish efficient timelines.
• Workpaper Review : Draft and review clear audit documentation, trial balances, and financial statements.
• Team Mentorship : Supervise, coach, and provide direct on-the-job training to staff accountants and interns.
• Client Relations : Serve as a primary point of contact for client personnel, ensuring smooth data flow and year-round contact.
• Evaluate Controls : Analyze and test client internal controls, systems, and financial reporting processes to minimize risk.
• Technical Research : Research complex GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific regulations to resolve specialized accounting issues.
• Specialized Compliance : Assist with specialized niche assurance services, including our robust HUD reporting and compliance practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 to 5 years of recent experience in public accounting audit/assurance roles.
• CPA Status : CPA certification is strongly preferred, or actively working toward eligibility/completion.
• Technical Skills : Deep working knowledge of GAAP and standard auditing procedures, with proficiency in modern audit software and MS Excel.
• Niche Knowledge : Prior experience with HUD audits or specialized real estate/healthcare portfolios is a major plus but not required.
• Leadership Traits : Strong project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
