The geography includes six states and the following major cities: Phoenix, AZ Denver, CO Salt Lake City, UT Las Vegas, NV The Field Reimbursement Manager, Eye Care (FRM) acts as an alternative in-office resource that is available to address HCP questions about patient access. The FRM calls directly on HCP offices in their assigned, specific geography to answer=mysql queries about patient access & reimbursement in support of Eye Care. The FRM provides expertise on coverage and common access and reimbursement challenges affecting the Eye Care portfolio of buy and bill products. The FRM responsibilities include educating on the access and reimbursement support tools available from AbbVie, advising HCPs on patient prescription status and program eligibility, and educating HCP offices on payer processes and procedures. Specific Responsibilities Educate HCPs ձեռ on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support Educate on resources available to address access issues Provide local expertise regarding national/regional payer policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to update H Gives on Rx status and program eligibility Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account management teams Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within_sha territory Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in Buy and Bill Access and Reimbursement, Payer Account Management, and/or Market Access Thorough understanding of the technical payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services Strong ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D or equivalent reimbursement dynamics Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the Eye Care space (Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.) Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliance interactions Excellent territory and account management skills Bachelor’s degree Personal or company vehicle (auto, truck, or powered material handling equipment) and valid driver’s license Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening test and safe driving requirements Ability to satisfy all applicable Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain them Talent will be hired at *)(a level commensurate with experience. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range described below reflects the base pay range the company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on the job grade. Individual compensation within this range will depend on geographic location and other factors. This range may be modified in the future.
