ABOUT OUR AGENCY: Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos! I'm Alexa Santana, proud owner of the first-ever State Farm Agency in Rahway, New Jersey.

As a bilingual agent (hablo Inglés y Español) and lifelong Central New Jersey resident, I've built my agency on connection, compassion, and commitment. With a Bachelor of Science from Centenary University and over 23 years of State Farm experience, I earned the opportunity to open my doors as an agent in April 2021. Becoming a State Farm Agent isn't something that happens overnight-it's a journey built on helping others, something I'm deeply passionate about.

Being a Legacy Agent (my parents are also State Farm Agents), this career is more than a job-it's part of my family and my purpose. But my most important role? I'm a proud mom to an amazing child with autism. Being a special needs parent has shaped how I lead with empathy, advocate fiercely, and celebrate every milestone-at home and in business.

My passion is helping others feel confident about their future by preparing for the unexpected and making space for their goals and dreams.

We're here to serve the communities of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with Automobile, Homeowners, Renters, Condominium, Commercial, Pet, and Life Insurance. You can find us in the heart of the Rahway Arts District inside The Mall on East Cherry Street, right across from The Waiting Room Restaurant.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Alexa Santana - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
• Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
