Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
RPh on the Go is hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract-to-hire opportunity in Gainesville, FL. This role combines sterile compounding, clinical pharmacy services, quality assurance, and oversight of pharmacy support staff.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- 13+ weeks, contract-to-hire
Responsibilities
- Interpret, verify, and process medication orders
- Perform and oversee hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding
- Ensure compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards
- Complete final verification of compounded sterile preparations
- Review medication profiles for dosing, interactions, allergies, and compatibility
- Maintain cleanroom, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation
- Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians and support staff
Requirements
- Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1+ year of hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding experience
- Knowledge of USP <797> , USP <800> , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills
