Clinical Lab Scientist - Monogram

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist to join our team in South San Francisco CA. Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 3:00pm - 11:30pm Job Responsibilities Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures Perform appropriate QA/QC procedures Operate and maintain equipment and instruments according to manufacturer and Monogram established procedures including: analysis of clinical specimens, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting May be appointed to oversee specialized processes or appointed to a unique coordinating role, such as safety or QC Actively participate in continuing education and in service training programs for licensure Reagent and viral stock preparation and qualification May assist in development of new assays and technology transfer from research and development Review and release results in the Laboratory Information System Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology California state issued Clinical Lab Science license (CLS) - Generalist Preferred Qualification Current or prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards Ability to work in a collaborative, flexible environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills and attention to detail Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
