Position: Lead I - Software Engineering Location: Frisco, TX Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Hybrid Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.
- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end batch and near real-time data pipelines using Azure databricks.
- Develop high-performance data transformation frameworks using PySpark and implement scalable data models in Snowflake.
- Develop and implement Medallion architecture for Enterprise data
- Provide technical leadership to the engineering team by establishing best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and review processes.
- Design reusable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks that improve engineering efficiency.
- Build robust data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure high data reliability and trust.
- Drive implementation of metadata management, lineage, logging, observability, and operational monitoring.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation techniques to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and operational support.
- Automate deployment, testing, and operational processes to enable reliable and repeatable data platform delivery.
- Optimize pipeline performance, scalability, reliability, and cost across the data platform.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and downstream consumers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach data engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and promote engineering excellence across the team.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, compliance, and data management standards.
