Machine Operator - Manufacturing (Min. Starting Pay $24.15)

POSITION SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•Working with production equipment in an industrial environment.
•Working with machinery, hand and power tools in a fast paced work environment.
•Working with an organization that provides the necessary training to complete the job and advance your career.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•You will be working with production supervisors and operating various machinery to meet production needs.
•Determining parts to be manufactured based upon orders and stock.
•Observe and maintain machinery operation and identifying and defects or malfunctions.
•Multi-tasking and cross training in other departments and machines.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•Previous Machine operation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
•Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.
•Ability to work overtime as necessary.

•Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds. 
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
•Occasionally exposed •Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear       and see.to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
