Veterinary Technician, Per Diem – RVT/LVT/CVT At Small Animal Veterinary Emergency Services (SAVES), you’ll be at the heart of life‑saving medicine in a 24/7 emergency hospital in northern New Hampshire. Your calm presence, advocacy for patients, and partnership with veterinarians will make a real impact. Compensation $27–$34/hour (based on skills assessment) $4.50/hour overnight differential (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) $4/hour weekend differential (Saturday 12 a.m.–Sunday 11:59 p.m.) $5,000 sign‑on bonus Schedule Per Diem Applicants for this per diem position must have prior experience as an emergency or urgent‑care veterinary technician. What You’ll Do Triage incoming patients and guide clients through high‑stress, emotional situations. Partner with DVMs on diagnostics, treatments, and case management. Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, cytology, etc.). Utilize advanced imaging to support patient assessment. Execute, monitor, and recover anesthesia and sedation events. Advocate for your patients—every step of the way. About You Credentialed (CVT/RVT/LVT) with ER/CC experience preferred. Compassionate, dependable, and team‑oriented.
