Overview
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU), travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date 09/21/2026 for 23 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,091–$2,236 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 rotating. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct ICU nursing care to critically ill adult patients, with ongoing assessments, monitoring, and timely interventions.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate or monitor lines and devices as ordered.
- Monitor hemodynamic status and ventilator support; respond promptly to alarms and clinical changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team; document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record and participate in rounds.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and patient privacy; support education for patients and families and participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
- Demonstrate flexible teamwork across a variable 7a–7p / 7p–7a schedule, including holiday coverage when required.

Requirements
- Current New York State registered nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- ENA certification preferred; TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting; demonstrated professionalism, discretion with confidential information, and effective communication and organization skills
