Job Title: RN Psych Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, DCI/BVP Description: We are seeking an RN Psych to join our team. The position focuses on providing care to adult patients in a psychiatric acute setting. Candidates should have experience in psychiatric nursing. A strong understanding of mental health issues is essential. The RN will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions. Effective communication skills are required to work collaboratively with the healthcare team. An ability to manage challenging behaviors in a therapeutic manner is critical. All candidates must possess current BLS certification. Additional relevant certifications such as DCI or BVP are also required.
