Level 1 Deskside Support Technician

Level 1 Deskside Support TechnicianHauppaugeCustom Computer Specialists is looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as a Level 1 Deskside Support Technician. This person will be responsible for providing first/second level support for incoming help desk inquiries and desk-side support to end users in a large corporate environment. This person will be assisting staff with any technical issues and requests.What You'll Do:Handles all incoming calls to the help desk via phone, email & walk-inFirst level in-person IT supportProvide resolution and assistance to Windows related problemsProvide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office, Browser programs, Antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systemsMobile Device Management: ordering, first level issue handling, installations/upgrades, IntuneIT Purchase Requisitioning, Invoicing, pricing of accessories; PO trackingAsset management: Maintain and constantly improve Asset dataContinuously monitor ITSM ticket queueAssist with Local AV- i.e. help setup a speaker or help connect to the monitors in conference/training rooms, troubleshoot A/V – PC connectivity issues.Perform other job-related duties as assignedWhat You Bring:A+ certification1-2 years' experience in hardware and software supportIndustry recognized Help Desk Certification and/or help desk environment experience A PLUSExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong knowledge of Windows operating systemsAbility to troubleshoot hardware and software problemsKnowledgeable on software installationsCome experience our unique culture and see how our "right people, right results" philosophy has led to our outstanding success!
