Packaging Operator
We're seeking enthusiastic Pick & Pack Associates for a distribution center in North Canton, Ohio. Join the team supporting a renowned gourmet chocolate manufacturer and enjoy a sweet work environment! Position Highlights:
- MondayFriday schedule
- Pay 1st shift $17.00 per hour
- Pay 2nd shift- $17.50 per hour
Pack individual candies or product bags into boxes
Operate various equipment: shrink and flow wrappers, candy cutters, twist wrappers, boxing and box taping equipment, and scales
Set up and prepare the production line
Maintain line sanitation and conduct proper clean-up at shift end
Uphold strict quality standards for candy appearance, labeling, packing, and decoration
Ensure cases are properly filled and all products meet company standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension
- No artificial nails or eyelashes
- Work attire must be free from rips, holes, tears, patches, or frays
Physical Demands:
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Bend, stoop, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Frequently perform repetitive manual tasks
