Project Manager

Seeking a Project Manager to join the Capital Projects group, reporting directly to the Capital Projects Manager. This role will lead multiple small-to-mid-sized capital projects from early concept through construction and closeout within a process manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with a strong mechanical or process background and experience in process safety environments such as chemicals, refining, or similar industries. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, primarily smaller-scale initiatives Lead projects from conceptual development through engineering, procurement, construction, and completion Develop project scope, cost estimates, and execution strategies Solicit and evaluate contractor bids and vendor proposals Work closely with vendors to develop preliminary pricing and technical solutions Define project requirements and determine when to engage engineering firms or specialty consultants Collaborate cross-functionally with: Operations teams Construction managers Contractors and field personnel Ensure alignment with plant safety standards, particularly in a process safety environment Oversee project execution to ensure schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met Provide regular project updates and recommendations to leadership Top Skills Project management, Project Engineering, Capital projects experience, CAD experience, PSM experience, HVAC or Material handling knowledge or background a plus.
