Automation Controls Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well‑established manufacturing company who is hiring a Automation Controls Technician to join their team at their food processing plant. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity in a hands‑on, industrial environment supporting 24/7 production equipment. This role is working 1st or 3rd shift, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend overtime as needed during peak season. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC‑controlled manufacturing equipment and automated systems Support automation and engineering projects, including equipment upgrades and process improvements Program, modify, and troubleshoot control systems, HMIs, instrumentation, and related equipment Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transmitters, valves, meters, and other process control devices Analyze equipment performance and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs Maintain accurate documentation for system changes, repairs, and projects Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support safe and efficient operations Requirements Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, Instrumentation, or related field; equivalent experience considered 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC/HMI control systems in a manufacturing environment Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000, Logix 5000, and industrial automation systems Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, sensors, transmitters, and closed‑loop control systems Experience with SCADA, Ignition, or similar automation software preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
