Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist.

Duties Shares responsibility with the Service Division Chief for the coordination and integration of various policy issues, technical guidance, and program activities. Develops a 5‑year Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) budget for sites assigned for use in program management development. Ensures the coordination of the inspection and repair schedules with Inventory Management, Distribution, the Military Service Control Points (SCPs), and the DLA Energy Regional Commands. Researches and applies a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to identify, analyze, and improve branch and program effectiveness, efficiency, and work products. Provides advice and expertise to DLA Energy Senior Leadership regarding the execution of their SRM functional responsibilities. Plans, programs, budgets, manages and executes the Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) portion of the DLA Energy SRM Program. Exercises supervisory responsibilities, including evaluating the work performance of employees, providing counsel related to work and administrative matters, and identifying developmental and training areas. Qualifications One year of specialized experience directly related to this position; for GS‑14 level, one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS‑13. Specialized experience includes: Leads personnel in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among team members. Monitors reports on the status and progress of work and project life cycle from initiation to closeout. Applies a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to identify, analyze, and improve branch and program effectiveness. Provides support on cradle‑to‑grave Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization of fuels infrastructure, and petroleum logistics. Experience may include unpaid or volunteer work; credit will be given for all qualifying experience. Education: Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. citizen. Tour of Duty: Flexible Schedule.
