Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Compact license required (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: 1 year of experience in rehab nursing Previous charge experience preferred Experience with patient ratios of 8:1 Description: This position involves providing care for patients in a rehabilitation setting. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and treatments. Experience with anticoagulation therapy and management of ventilated patients is preferred. The role includes patient teaching and assessment of pain management. Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. The nurse will participate in infection prevention strategies. The position requires flexibility to float to similar units as needed. Weekend coverage is mandatory, with rotations every other weekend. Travel experience is a plus. The nurse will work in a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
